Breakout on Bremner

Canada vs USA was probably the most epic game I've ever been at. The atmosphere was amazing, crowd was crazy, there was baseball in March (!!!), Votto found his way into my heart, the only thing missing was a win for Canada. Alas, we can't have everything. Hopefully Canada comes through with a win vs Italy and USA/Venezuela.

When I got home, I decided to turn on the tube, and watch Venezuela suffer defeat against Italia (a guy can hope no?), and was instead amazed by the announcing. It started out with the random American announcers getting bonus points for calling the Rogers Centre, Skydome. That amazed me that they could be so uneducated, but was quite nice for them to call it by its real name. Then they decided to diss up our beloved stadium by examining the turf! It's not perfect but it's a hella lot better then that Astroturf stuff we were playing on before, so deal with it, my friend the anonymous announcer.

For the rest of the game things went along rather boringly, with them getting boners over Felix Hernandez's fastball, and Miguel Cabrera's high socks. In the 8th things took a nose dive. They decided to examine my beloved Jays. They came to the conclusion that we basically suck because the Yankeefag Burnett ran away, and that we should trade Halladay. WTFBANANAS. This is not good.

Halladay. Should. NOT. Be. Traded. EVER. Halladay will be a life long Jay. There is no doubt in my mind about this. Case closed, capeesh, fini.

Adios, GO CANADA ON MONDAY. Votto will continue his utter domination.
